FAMILY: Kennedy

Meet Kennedy, she's almost two. Things I know about Kennedy: she loves to laugh, run and can take down a bag of cheddar goldfish like nobody's business. I met up with this cutie pie and her parents Chris and Melanee at an Ann Arbor nature park to take photos celebrating her second birthday.

When brainstorming ideas for Kennedy's photos I threw out the idea of putting her in her Halloween costume. I mean, really, how cute is cute?

WEDDING: Eric & Ashley Morais

Eat, drink and be married. Simple words that Eric and Ashley made the theme of their late September wedding. The pair work in advertising and they certainly know how to plan and sell a good time!

I started the day at Ashley's childhood home as they ladies received make-up and hair.

One of my favorite moments of the afternoon was when the limo driver Devin, donned a pair of shades and sat himself down at the piano! Devin, the entertainer!

Ashley admitted an obsession with "bling." I certainly can't blame her, these accessories are totally stunning.

Eric and Ashley LOVE to golf. Even with the daylight running out, we managed to squeeze in a golf inspired photo!

Eric and Ashley are definitely a beautiful and classic bride and groom!

SENIORS: Jana & Karishma

I some how managed not to post a single time during the month of September. To remedy that, I am starting October with a bang! Here is a two-for-one blog post and I've got a whole lot more to share in the next few weeks!

Meet Jana and Karishma. They are best friends. The pair met in third grade and are now seniors in high school. We got together last week for two sessions, one for Jana + Karishma and one for Karishma + Jana. Hanging out with these two made me nostalgic for high school and great friendships. I'm lucky enough to have great friends in my life, and I can tell these two do, too.

First up, Jana's session at Island Park. I had my eyes glued to the radar all day before our shoot, but the photo Gods gave us mercy and whisked away the wind and rain for another day!

And here are Karishma's from Gallup Park the next day.
