A brief storm blew in while I was visiting my Mom and Mark at their boat in Detroit. And unlike last time, I had a real camera with me!
And the aftermath!

Meet Jessica and Mark. Jessi works for Google and Mark is a special ed teacher at a local school. The pair are world travelers and couldn't be more in love. Eight years ago Jessica and Mark went to their high school prom together. Fast forward to 2011, a relocation to the (great!) state of Michigan and now they are attending a wedding, their own!
If I were making up a title for this wedding it would be: No Detail Left Behind! Jessica, her mother, sister, friends and family members made sure of it. From a collection of vintage vases and frames to a homemade wedding cake, this wedding had all sorts of personal and thoughtful detail.
Jessica and Mark can throw a party! Mix a little Killer Flamingos (local rock band legends) with a open air barn and sprinkle in a reception party that is ready to dance and boom! You've got fun!
Wishing Jessica and Mark a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!
This past weekend I made a quick trip down to Muncie, Ind. to attend my buds Chris and Eileen's wedding reception at the local watering hole. I spent more time holding a beer than a camera and therefore have no photos to share. However! I did make a quick trip down to see my former roommate Betsy and her fiance Chad and toured their really fantastic garden. Here are the spoils:
Get off that tomatillo plant worm! Think he "sees" me? :)
Keeping the overgrown green in the neighbors yard.
